You may also choose the speed of your green, which depends on the amount of rolling and brooming at the end of the process.

Why wouldn't I just install a natural grass green?
Maintenance and cost. The amount of time, effort and money you would put into a natural grass green can mount up very quickly. Check with the superintendent at your local golf course, and he'll agree.

How is performance of a Pro Turf green compared to a natural grass green?
A Pro Turf green rolls, bounces and holds shots just like a real grass green. Our rounded quartz infill provides porosity, which is important in maintaining superior and consistent playability.
What is the life span of a Pro Turf green?
The UV polypropylene fibers are designed to resist the harmful effects of sun, rain, snow, and ice. The greens can last 15 years or more depending on usage.
What about drainage?
We prepare your site to create positive drainage. Water drains over the top of the green.
How long does it take for you to install one?
Most greens can be completely installed in two to three days.
Once I have a Pro Turf green installed, what maintenance is required?
Very little. Simply blowing off any debris, occasionally rolling, and an annual evaluation of top dressing will maintain a superior putting surface.
What we wanted originally was a little putting green area to play around in, do some golf practice on. After we got that installed, we recognized how easy the maintenance was, how beautiful it was, so we decided to exteend it to more of our back yard. When the weather starts getting warm and our real grass starts turning brown, this (synthetic turf) stays nice and green. I love the look!

We just wanted to thank Thomas Fischer for the excellent job he did refurbishing the putting green at our home.
The previous owner had left Thomas's number for us at Synthetic Turf Specialists, so we gave him a call last Spring. We were hoping to get everything whipped into shape before our guests arrived the following week. Thomas quickly fitted us into his schedule, arrived early on the appointed morning, and worked straight through, answering our questions as he went, until the putting green was absolutely lovely. AND his final bill was lower than his estimate; when does THAT ever happen?
